How much time after BRP to get new born tier1 dependent visa

How much time after BRP to get new born tier1 dependent visa

Hi,

I had applied Tier 1 dependent for my new born(born in UK) by post on Apr 28th. got a email to take BRP appointment 2 days back, yday called and booked it for June 7th, any idea how much time it will take to get the passport back?

I have a trip planned for July15th (that is 5 weeks from BRP). i am unable to change my travel dates. What i am thinking is if i dont get the passport back by July 1st, I will withdraw my application and get the passport back. am right in doing this ?

1. See Waiting times and browse this topic.
2. If you wish to travel outside CTA, withdrawing the application is the only option to have your passport returned.
