gross salary tier 1 extension

Post by params0073 » Fri May 27, 2011 6:17 pm

Hi,
I am going to apply for extension in jan 2012.I have a question about gross salary(before tax):-
1.My gross salary is 3000 and in hand is 2200 pounds. In january i had taken 9 unpaid holidays,so on my pay slips gross it is showing 3000 and also 9 days unpaid (3000 - 9 days unpaid). So for extension my salary will be counted as 3000 or 2200 for January ?

It would be what you have earned before any deductions. So it should be 3000 - 9 days pay.

You must claim after the 9 days are deducted as you didn't earn the full amount, just a part of it. You can only claim what you earned.
