Writing to the Justice Minister

Post by adjo » Tue May 31, 2011 8:55 pm

Has anyone done this in regards to their application for citizenship?

Can it help in anyway to fast track it? And does anyone have any experience?

I posted earlier about wife on benefits. May this maybe help to clarify things if needed?

Thanks!!

all depends how well you can write a letter, it will be looked at by a bureaucrat, not the Minister. you may well get a mill standard reply
thanking you, with blah blah and nothing else

by all means, you are entitled to try all options.
You can also ask your TD to write on your behalf,
again it depends on how compelling you can speak and his
genuine intention to work for his constituents.

I have personal knowledge of members who went to their TD (name Fergus O'Dowd FG )
who spoke with compassion, but could not care less about his
constituents, and it was reflected in his mill reply.

Saying that, I have positive knowledge of results from people who went
to other TD's such as Arthur Morgan SF, who perhaps really wanted
to work for the small man.

All depends on the TD or your pull or your compelling case.

my TD raised question in the dail it get same response like you see on kildare street.com website. also there is email address which TD can email on applicants behalf this the same thing in every response minister refers to "Oirechtas mail facility" specially setup to ask question by TD for citizenship that this also is bullshit and dont give a specific response same bullshit answer over n over. i dont discourage you but go to TD and ask if he contact them atleast its officially asked.
