In country switch Tier-1 dependent to Tier-1 main, possible?

Post by mjbhangoo » Sat Jun 04, 2011 2:37 pm

Hi all,
I am new to this forum and posting first time. My apologies if a similar question has already been answered but I could not find any despite searching a lot on this forum.

Currently, I am working in the UK as a dependent of a tier-1 General migrant. Is it possible for me all to switch to tier-1 main applicant status in the UK.

I will really appreciate even the slightest help in this regards,

Many thank,

mjb

thanks a lot tier1_applicant for your prompt reply. Will it be possible for me to switch to tier-1 main applicant status in any way or is it a close chapter now ?

Just a note on this, that even before Tier 1 General was closed, you were still not allowed to "switch" from dependent to main.
