Original/photocopies of supporting docs for visitor visa

Post by jkks » Tue Jun 07, 2011 11:40 pm

Hi, My parents would be submitting the visitor visa very soon. Is it must to submit the original property documents and original fixed deposits (from their side) along with the application? Or is it fine to submit the photocopies of those documents?

Original documents are a must. It's also a good idea to attach photocopies, but originals are a must.

Take originals with you. These might be checked and returned to you immediately. Only in rare cases are originals retained and are then returned back to your when an application decision has been made.

Take photocopies with you as you will be asked to submit photocopies.

Thanks for the replies. It should be fine if the Original documents returned immediately, otherwise my parents are bit scared to submit the originals.
