15 Days

In case:
To request the return of documents from any other application for permission to stay in the UK, call 0870 606 7766 and select Option 2.

Return of documents (Croydon only)
If your travel documents are currently with the UK Border Agency but you urgently require them for travel, Croydon public enquiry office offers a service that can return those documents to you.

We will need to find and retrieve the documents before you can collect them, so we can only offer this service if you contact us in advance. Please do not arrive at the public enquiry office without first phoning our immigration enquiry bureau.

When we tell you that your documents are ready for collection, you can collect them from the 'return of documents' desk at the public enquiry office between 09:00 and 12:00, Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays). If you arrive at the desk after 12:00, you will not be seen and will need to return on another day.

Thanks tier1_applicant. The processing for this seems to be much less than 15 days as stated earlier. Any ball park for the max time it can take?

should be much less than 10 days standard time as below:

1. When an applicant requests the withdrawal of their application we aim to process the request as soon as possible, and where feasible, within 10 days from the date of the request.

As it is PEO, so you can safely assume around one week.
