Information: Tier 1 (general) Route Document List

I have searched the forum several times but couldn't find this information. I'm reproducing here from my online application for other (delete this post if it already exists)

All documents must be originals. You should photocopy each of these documents and provide the copies in addition to the originals. You should also photocopy any passport pages containing personal details, visas or immigration stamps (foreign or UK).


1) passport (self, dependent, both old and new passports)
2) Finance proof (last 3 month bank stmt, payslips)
3) Life in UK test certificate (self and dependent(s))
4) Proof of cohabitation
This correspondence should be addressed to you jointly or in both your names. If you do not have enough items in both your names you can provide documents addressed to you individually but they must be at the same address. The dates of the items of correspondence should spread over the whole 2 years. They should be from at least 3 different sources. Acceptable correspondence items are:

Official documents from government departments or agencies such as HM Revenue and Customs;
Documents from your GP, a hospital or other local health service regarding medical treatments, appointments, or home visits;
Bank statements/ letters, building society savings books/letters;
Council tax bills or statements;
Electricity and/or gas bills or statements;
Water rates bills or statements;
Mortgage statements/agreement;
Tenancy agreement(s);
Telephone bills or statements

5) Evidence that you are economically active in the UK since your last grant of Tier 1 (12 month payslip, bank statement, P60/P45 etc)

6) Recent Photographs
