FLR application after HSMP approval

Post by aspire2b » Fri May 12, 2006 1:58 pm

I sent the FLR (IED) application on May 2nd. The CC was charged on May 3rd. Received a letter from HO on May 5th informing me of receipt of application, clearance of payment and the reference number.

May 12th - still waiting for my passport (and documents).

Dear Aspire,

Could you kindly let me know if I mentioned that i pay a mortgage of 1000 pounds and only have a net income of 1800 on FLR IED form will it act against me?

I have no dependants.

how much savings did you show...sorry for asking a personal question, inother words how much savings should one demonstrate

many thanks

channa

Hi HSMP_APRIL_2006,

In my opinion:-

Mentioning that you pay a mortage of 1000 quids is definitely NOT going to negatively affect your FLR application. I have a few friends paying rent of approx. the same amount but they never had any problem in their leave extension.

1800 quids monthly salary (NET) is good enough. Just don't worry about it !!

Attach last 4-6 months of bank account statements and don't worry what balance you have in there. What they want to have a look at is your economic activity and not how much you save every month !!

Don't worry !!

regards
