T1 General Initial Application UK No Biometrics

Dear Senior Members

I have few question regarding my Tier 1 General Initial Application (Inside UK), below is my exact time line to understand my individual case.

1. Category changing (switching) from - PSW
2. Date of expiry of current leave (visa) - Oct 2011
3. Date application posted - 30 March 2011
3a. Acknowledgement received - 12th April 2011
4. Date payment debited - N/A
5. Payment mode - Bankers Draft
6. Date leave to remain valid from - N/A
7. Date of biometric enrolment - Awating
8. Date passport / BRP received - Awating



Dear Members my questions are:

1, After waiting over 9 weeks I have yet to receive my biometric enrolment letter, Please bear in mind I have never given my biometrics before current Initial T1 General application, I have been student in UK since Sep 2003 and then switched to PSW in Sep 2009.

2. Is it recommended to call Home office after 9 weeks and enquire about biometrics enrolment Letter or shall wait some more time ?

3. What is the formal timeline ! after one can call or email Home office about existing T1 Application.

4. Members who are still waiting for biometric or in similar situation please do add your valuable comments.
