biometrics for tier 1 g initial

Post by khaleeque » Wed Jun 15, 2011 1:54 pm

Hi

I applied for tier 1 gen on 4th of april. I gave biometrics with my wife individually on 3rd of may in cardiff and still havent recieved any reply from ho. Although we were supposed to book appointment as a family but i read on the forum that we can book individually so i booked individually on same day but when we went their we had to wait for 2 hours because they didnt have any details of our appointment so they gave us new brn numbers. i saw applicants who gave biometrics after 3rd may started recieved replies from ukba.
Should i contact ukba or wait. because i am confused.

please guide.

I think they missed your biometric data. You can send a fax to UKBA and explain the issue. They will respond back. Please refer aliphili's post in incountry Tier 1 G timelines for details

Given that you were given new booking reference number(s), you should inform UKBA after giving biometrics

It is also important to realise that when one may get a decision on the application is dependant on the merits of the application and not on the length of time since submitting biometric details.
