hi guys.

regarding maintaince fund of 533 pounds for dependant of tier 1 holder.

who should hold the 533? main applicant or it should be in the dependant bank a/c statement ?

Main (Primary) applicant.
800 (Main) + 533 (Per dependent) = 1333, if you are in UK for more than 12 months.

A: Is it in the main applicant bank statement that we show the 533 ( in addition to the main appliant fund)

B : or the 533 should be shown seperately in the dependant own bank statement?

You can show this amount either in your account or your dependant's account. It really doesn't matter as long as correct amount is available.

It shd be in either your account or your spouse's account or joint account between the 2. This will work even if you are applying for your kids. Money can be shown in your/spouse accounts.

There are few other combination also(you can read the guidelines they clearly specify it) but for most of us the answer I gave will work.
