italian law states that foreigners marrying an italian are immediately legible for citizenship. INTERESTING!

I never heard that before... I have many Italian friends, their partners have to wait a few years.... can you provide the official government source of that information?

Those who marry an Italian citizen, are eligible for citizenship, after 3 years (if residing in the US). If living in Italy, a person becomes eligible after 6 months of marriage
