Currently i came to UK on tier1 general want to apply depend

Hello Friends

First of all, after looking at the forum this is a very valuable source of sharing and acquiring information. My sincere thanks to the owners and members.

My concern...

I have a tier1 (general) visa obtained on 15.10.2009 and valid until 15.10.12.
I came to UK on March-21st-2011 currently am in search of a job.

Now i want to apply dependant visa to my wife and kid who are presently in India.

Below are requirements -

1. Covering letter.
2. Statutory Declaration / Sponsorship letter.
3. Copy of Passport of main applicant with Tier 1 General visa and letter
from Home Office.
4. Marriage certificate translated in English (original attached).
5. Marriage Pictures two or three.
6. Employment Letter (if main applicant is already in UK).
7. Last six months Salary Slips from Employer (if main applicant is already
in UK).
8. Bank Statements to prove maintenance funds available.
9. Gas and Electricity Bill for prove of residence (if applicable).
10. Property Ownership Document or Tenancy agreement.
11. Mortgage documents from bank(if applicable).
12. Property Inspection report.

My concern is point 7, currently i don't have a job here - is this applicable for me.

Please guide me.

Bank Statement to Prove Maintenanace funds - For yourself and for your wife will cover standard requirement 2400 (for urself) + 1600 (for ur wife) that u can keep her here and can also search for a job meanwhile...if u have done contract job for 3-4 months and do not have 6 month payslips then just submit those ..its fine as long as u meet the requirement of 3600GBP for 3 month in bank

Ensure that bank statement are original issued on letter head of bank and are not dot matrix print out. Also u can take online statemetn printout and then go to bank and get seal and signature on every page of statement which is enough.

Marriage certificate - original and traslated copy both needed

You also need to prove sustaining relationship (which is not mandatory requirement but many rejection are happening as i have read through the forum) and for this u will need
- Your passport copy pages which shows ur wife name
- Your wife passport which shows ur name i.e. spouse name
- Joint bank account statement (if u have any ..must be original letter head of bank)
- Transcript of emails sent to ur wife from ur mail account
- original of ur phone calls logs which shows that u called ur wife regularly ..as ur phone provider they can provide u the itemised bill
- ur flight tickets which shows u have visited india to meet ur wife
- marriage photo's
- Your hotel stay in india if u have visited any place which shows urs and ur wife name etc.
- your bank recipts of money transfer to her account in india

Note that Point3, 4 and 8 is Mandatory requirement as mentioned in your list and rest is supporting evidence for ur application and in this sustenance relationship docs needs to be included.
