Living in uk for 8 years

Post by sardarshoaib » Sat Jun 18, 2011 4:29 pm

Hi
I am living in uk for 8 years on student visa and my wife is here for 5 years on student dependent visa. Can she apply for indefinite leave to remain. Waiting for your kind reply

No she cannot. Or, she could but it would almost certainly be a waste of the fee because 5 years as a student dependent doesn't lead to anything in the immigration rules and she can expect to have the application refused.
