do i need to take dependents along with me

Hi All,
I have booked an appointment for me and 3 dependents on 25/07/11, i read on this forum that dependents need not accompany the main applicant for in person service but
on the ukba confirmation document it says all the family members need to be present on the day
can someone advise me please, i am going to sheffield peo
