hi
i posted my application for transfer of my ILR to a new Passport on 06.06.2011 and received acknowledgement on 08.06.2011.

does any one know how it will take to get back my passport.

That is ridiculous, if it really takes that long. I'd just travel with both old and new passports [as I did in the past when I had still valid visa in the old passport].

Mine was transfered within 8 working days. I did mine online so the processing was shortened. If you do it online, you just need to submit the two passports and proof that the new passport is genuine + the form

I got the proof from my embassy.

Seeing as you already have ILR in a different passport, how can they refuse you?

Just exercise some patience and you will get it soon.

Have you received your passport with the ILR stamp.

I posted my MIL passport for transfer of ILR stamp to new passport on the 11th of July. Got a confirmation letter dated 13th of July but we are still waiting for the passport.

Hi Goodwill, Have u got ur passport back....I too applied for NTL stamp in my new passport in June 3rd week.....still no reply from UKBA....all the thread shows that it takes more than 14 weeks...and no one responded clearly with a exact timelines...someone please through a light on this...

Hi, I got my NTL visa processed....I have received the documents today....
It took nearly 8 weeks...
