Bank Statement for student visa

Post by zahid.ali.anwar » Sat Jul 09, 2011 5:43 pm

Hi,

My friend was applying for Tier 4 Visa.

He filled in the form attached all the documents and dispatched the complete file to UKBA yesterday.

He realiaze today that he forgot to include the bank statement with the application and documents already dispatched.

Can he send the bank statement on monday including a cover letter, having his name, DOB, Passport number and CAS letter copy with it. OR he should wait for the acknowledgment letter from UKBA.

Secondly, at the time of last application, he has been given a deception charge. That was however removed by the AIT. and he got his visa. He have mentioned that in his application form and told that the deception charges were removed by the AIT. He has also included the copy of details of decision by AIT with his application form. Is this OK and will this save his application.

An advise is really appreciated in this regard.

Thanks,
The question is... to be or not to be....

Where did your friend applied from? if it was the AC GERRY's then they check the documents and let you know if something of such a high importance is missing

having said that, I do not think he can send the bank statements now because UKBA guidance clearly states You cannot send any documents once the application is filed and sent to Home office. Maybe he can give it a try that is the least he can do or is application will be invalid anyway

Goodluck :)

he doesnt need to vary his application. He just needs to submit the bank statement using the change of circumstances form

http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/study ... s/changes/#

Where is he studying? His tier 4 sponsor may be able to help him submit the information as they can sometimes find out where the application is being dealt with and so can send the evidence direct to the caseworker.
