Tier 1 Extension - New Born

Post by anandh79 » Tue Jul 12, 2011 3:28 pm

Hi,

We are expecting a baby around end of october. I am thinking of applying extension around december.

Can i add my newborn baby directly as dependant for extension or should i first get an visa till my tier 1 validity and thn apply for an extension.
Although my visa is valid till march 2012, I would be applying extension around december.

So, I wanted to check whether it is ok to make my new born baby directly for extension?

Pls advise,

Regards
Anandh

yes, its fine. As long as you are not travelling(abroad) with your baby as the baby will need a vise to come back.
