Tier1 extension From HSMP transitional arrangements

Post by jagankumar » Wed Jul 13, 2011 1:49 pm

Hi All,

I have Tier1 (General) visa which expires in 17th Jan 2012.

Before I post my question let me give brief history of my visa.

1) Applied intial HSMP on 25th Feb 2008 and got my HSMP approval letter on 3rd May 2008.
2) Filed my EC application under HSMP transitional arrangments on 20th Aug 2008 and got refused on 14th Oct 2008.
3) Filed my EC application under HSMP transitional arrangments on 28th Oct 2008 and got my Tier1 visa on 04th Nov 2008.
Tier1 (General) Visa valid from 18th Jan 2009 to 18th Jan 2012

4) I came to UK with a job offer in sept 2010.

Am planning to a file my Tier1 (General) extension in End of Nov 2011

My questions are

1) Do I need to file my self application as Tier1 extension or HSMP transitional arrangements (Since I got my HSMP approval letter and filed my EC as transitional arrangements)?
2) I have joint account with my wife. Regarding the bank statements for the fund maintenance, my statements would have my wife name as well in it. Do I need to get any letter from my wife to mention that she has no objection on this? or Just bank statement would be sufficient?
Note: My Wife is in Tier4 student visa not as my dependant visa.
3) At the moment am staying in a my cousin's rented property, Tenancy agreement is in his name, but council tax and all other utilities are on my name. For the accomodation proof, can i submit all my utility bills except the tenancy agreement? or is this mandatory?
It would be helpful if someone answer for my questions.

Many Thanks

1. You have to apply as Teir1 Extension there is no such thing as transtitional arrangement.

2. Ask your wife to sign the concent form to the bank at the section 6?? for the joint account consent.

3. It is generally not required but people tend to supply tenancy agreement...
What you really need is your maintanence fund.

Just want to clarify my doubts, since I have got my HSMP approval letter and made my EC as Tier1 (HSMP transitional arrangments), will my extension application should be as HSMP Forum Ltd judicial review judgment ???

But on my visa page has Tier1 General.

Please answer

HSMP JRs are not relevant for those who applied for HSMP approval after 07-Nov-06.
