withdraw tier 1 general application

hi,
i applied for tier1 general visa from uk in 28 march 2011. for emergency i need to go back home thats why i reguest to withdraw my application via phone and fax on 12th april 2011. so many times i gave call to ukba but they are always saying that you need to keep waiting.still today 14/07/2011. i did not receive my passport back. my previous visa will expire 13/01/2013.
if anyone know what else i can do to get my passport back.please let me know.
