Hi,
A bit confused about what is counted towards 5 year period for ILR and what not. This is my immigration History in UK
Student Visa: Valid From 15/09/2003 -- Valid Until 31/10/2004
Residence permit (limited leave to remain): Issued On 08/11/2004 -- Valid until 31/01/2005
Residence permit (limited leave to remain): Issued On 18/03/2005 -- Valid Until 28/02/2006
Residence permit (limited leave to remain): Issued On 28/03/2006 -- Valid until 28/02/2007.
HSMP: Valid From 07/09/06 -- Valid Until 07/09/08
Tier 1 (General): issued On 23/08/2008 -- Valid Until 09 Sep 2011
(I am using valid from/issued on and valid until as mentioned on my visa)
Am i already eligible for ILR? As of now i am assuming that i will be eligible for ilr on 15th Aug 2011 (4 years 11 months since i entered UK on HSMP).
Will any of my previous residence permits count towards the 5 year period.
Thanks
PS: I also dont know how come all my visa dates are not overlapping. I always applied for extensions on time. Is there something to read in "issue date" and "Valid From"?
