ILR question

Post by Akarsh » Fri Jul 29, 2011 9:27 am

Good morning,

I hold an HSMP which is due to expire on the 20th Oct 2011, after which i will be eligable for ILR. I qualify for ILR under the judicial review (pre nov 2006). We have a 3 month old baby, my wife gave birth to a baby boy in april 11. I have recently applied for an Indian passport for my son but he does not have any visa as we have no plans to travel outside UK.

my question is.

1. Do i need to apply for an ILR for my son (as a dependent) or can i directly apply for british citizenship using the MN1 form after i receive my ILR

Many thanks for all your help and advise.

Kind regards
Akarsh
