Absence abroad - Ireland (CTA)?

Hi Folks,

I'm on a Tier 1 (JR) getting ready for the ILR application. I have a few week long business trips to Dublin. Given that Rep. of Ireland is in the Common travel area (CTA), can somebody please advise if trips to Dublin would count as days away from the country?
