Ireland Spouse Visa

Post by CP182 » Tue Aug 02, 2011 8:33 pm

Can anyone share (advise) on the "sufficient funds" requirement of the spouse visa?

My partner who is Irish works full-time doing cab and construction type work. He doesn't make a ton of money but there would be enough to cover bills, etc. I work here full-time but, of course, wouldn't be allowed to work in Ireland until I get my visa!

There isn't much of a savings account. We have a child together as well.

Are they basically just wanting to see that he's working or can someone help point me in the right direction? Help!

Thanks!

i think best is for you.make sure you have joint bank account.every friday/thursday pay in approx 400 euro. it is advantage if you can show once you have granted permission in ireland .so have access to the job. check pm
