ILR success @PEO Sheffield!

Post by apply4hsmp » Fri Aug 05, 2011 2:42 pm

I would like to share my experience with ILR which went through fine at PEO Sheffield.

My stay here is as WP + HSMP + Tier1, arrived in Aug 2006 completing 5 years this month.

I went for premium processing for me and my wife. I have excluded my kid who I will apply for British passport immediately.

Parking: There's a Q Park opposite so parked my car there.
Kindly note you are only allowed 30 mins before appointment so when I reached at 9AM for 10 AM appt. was handed a map to nearest cafes and turned back.

After a drink and bit of relaxing when I entered @9:30AM got a airport style security clearance to get inside. The staff there were pretty courteous and cheerful. One window noted our attendance, next checked our papers and then another window took our papers & payment.

Note the second window had a checklist of whether correct form, passport, photos, supporting evidence. I was asked by this guy to place all supporting docs and everything in a big plastic bag which was taken by the payment lady at the next window along with payment.

My docs were then checked in the office by one of the officers (not in front of me) and then she called me to say my application is pretty straight forward and she needed an hour to do further checks@ about 10:40AM.
By 11:30 she called me again to let me know my application is successful and in another 5 mins I will get my passports which I got by 11:40 i think.

I noted they photocopy each and every supporting doc you provide for their records, so be careful what you are providing.

I provided the following
12 months payslips
12 months bank stmt
4 P60s (1 was missing)
LIUK tests
Cohabitation docs
Letter from company

My docs were all very well organised so the officer did not complain about any more evidence even it was missing and was happy that my case was simple and straight forward.

Did you go alone or took dependants as well to the PEO ?

Thanks

I took both my wife and son with me though son wasnt on the ILR application, but felt they were really not required and nobody asks anything, so all upto you.
