HELP

Post by onja2009 » Sun Aug 07, 2011 10:46 pm

Hi

My post may be a bit stupid, but I rather be seen as such than get it wrong.
My Spouse visa expires on 21st of September. When is the earliest date I can apply. I got a date for 25th August @ a PEO? would it be too early? Need to travel on the 3rd of September

It depends on when you initially arrived on the spouse visa.

No it is not. In SET(O) form there is a list of such benefits which count towards public funds:

The public funds which are relevant for the purposes of the Immigration Rules are listed below.
  • Severe Disablement Allowance
    Carer’s Allowance
    Disability Living Allowance
Income Related Employment and Support Allowance
    Working Tax Credit
    Social Fund Payment
    Council Tax Benefit
    Child Benefit
    Income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance
    Housing Benefit
    State Pension Credit
    Child Tax Credit
    Housing or Homeless-ness assistance
