HELP in NEED

Post by jacynta » Tue Aug 16, 2011 7:25 pm

Dear all,

I would greatly appreciate with great advice from anyone.

I came to UK under Tier 2 (General) on 18th Oct 2010. The visa expires on 4th Oct 2013.

I bought a car and insured with my name. Due to my mistake and not being aware of difference in motoring law between UK and my home country, I had a motoring conviction IN14 with fine GBP200 and 6 points on my driving license. (SILLY ME!!!)
Date of offence: 11th Jan 2011
Date of conviction: 25th Mar 2011

Here's my questions:

1. Will this affect my visa extension by Oct 2013?
2. IF YES, from my understanding ,I am only allowed to extend for
another 2 years ---> till Oct 2015? Am I allowed to apply for ILR then?
Because the record stays for 5 years, which till 25th Mar 2016.

Am I doomed??

Please clear my confusions!

Hi arsenal,

The fine was imposed by court though.
Will this still be alright?
