ILR - WP employment Letter and SOC

Post by jaffar » Wed Aug 17, 2011 9:25 am

Hi

I am Jaffar Shakir and My wife is the main applicant holding work permit since sept 2006 working for the same company.I joined my wife few months after she came to uk and have been living since nov 2006.I have 2 questions

1.My wife has ILR PEO application next week and she got letter HR saying that her occcupation and mentioned that she has been paid at the appropriate rate according to sos code of practice and also they need her to continue employ her and full time and ongoing.

They have not mentioned the salary per year, but she is getting more than what she meant to and does HR still needs to give a new letter mentioning the salary.

2.I am holding spouse dependant visa and is it fine to include me in her application or do i need to have separate tier1 or tier 2 etc.
Thanks
Regards
Jaffar

A new letter stating the salary as well would be helpful.

You can apply as a dependant. Take originals and copies of the documents needed for cohabitation.

Hi Ksab

Thank you for your reply. My wife checked with her HR yesterday and they told the same format they used it many times and had no issues.

Do you think will it be a problem if we dont get one more letter from her HR.

Regarding cohabitation proof,we r taking one bank statement from each year from 2007 Jan till June 2011 as it has both names and also we have council tax for 5 years?is that enough.

Thanks
Jaffar

That should be fine then. I guess they can calculate your annual salary based on your payslips. If HR don't want to do another letter I'd take the one you currently have - personally I would want them to state my salary.

Take copies of all the documents as it saves time for the caseworker and therefore yourself.

Hi Ksab

Thank you for your reply.

As My wife is the principal applicant,we are taking the documents which i have mentioned and as a backup,I am also taking my P60's in case if they ask.

Thanks

Jaffar
