Tier-1 Extn-Limited Comp+Perm Emp- Dividend shown in Payslip

Post by dilip_gem » Wed Aug 17, 2011 5:26 pm

Hi there,
I'm planning to apply for Tier-1 Gen Extension by next month. In past 12 months I've worked as a Contractor through my own limited company and now doing a Permanent job.
As a contractor I used to draw little salary and more payment was done through Dividends.
My Accountant has provided me payslips which covers Credits (Salary + Dividends) and Deductions (NI+Tax on Salary) However it does not cover Tax-Credit for Dividends.
that is, Pay slips only contain the Net Dividends Paid.
I'm planning to get an Accountant letter (which details all credits/debits) also Want to Generate Dividend Vouchers and attach them.
Will this be ok? or do I need to rework on my Payslips to show Dividend Tax Credits?

Regards,
Gem

Hi Dilip,

I think thats fine if the gross dividend and dividend tax credits are shown in the accountant letter separately for each payment and also in dividend vouchers.

I have applied today with the same type of documents and my extension got
approved (Croydon PEO).

Additional info: Caseworker also asked me for Invoices and business bank statements during the session and I have provided them as well.

Hope this helps.

Yes just get dividend tax vouchers made up, as per UKBA instructions, and then get the net/tax credit/net+tax credit position reflected in the accountant letter.
