How to find company's SOC code

Hello Everyone,

Does every company have to get SOC from home office? Do they have to register it somewhere?

I thought I just had to look in COP and get the job title match and that was it. But reading some topics under workpermit section, I get the feeling that company might have to obtain a code from HO or something like that.

Could anyone tell me how does it work?

If the job title for your job is not here, the employer chooses the one most similar in description to your job for the soc code
