Appling for 14 year ILR - straight away or after a while?

Post by onlinealiens » Fri Aug 19, 2011 3:02 pm

Is it a good idea to give it few weeks after completing 14 years ( illegal overstayer) and then apply for IRL.

Or it is better to apply one day after the 14 years are completed?

Thanks

I can't see how it matters. You will not gain any advantage from waiting.

I sent my application on the 9th to arrive on the 10th August and thats when I completed 14 years in the UK. good luck and keep us updated with the progress.

if you send it on the same day you came to the UK, at least you can be waiting for a reply from home office rather than wait any longer you should
