Tier2 - Educational Eligibility

Post by sa9672 » Mon Aug 22, 2011 10:11 pm

Hi there,

I am in the process of applying for a Tier 2 general visa from India. How do I ensure that my academic qualifications are recognised by UK NARIC? Is there a need to get any authorisation from them before applying?

Any suggestions are most welcome.
Thanks

Are we talking about the 10 points for English Language (garnered from a degree that was taught in English). Otherwise, your degree is really a matter for your sponsor.

Hi

Thanks for your response. You have asnwered my query to the T :) The 10 points for English were a cakewalk. So academic qualifications are not a criteria for applying for a Tier 2.
Got that sorted. Thanks once again.

So friends , it means no need to go to NARIC for degree if you have passed IELTS test ????

if yes, than still points for degree ? how it will be calculated by visa authorities?
