Be safe, send 6 months. If you have a savings account, be safe again and send a full years one, Lloyds TSB charge you £5 if you want an up to date version. So I'm guessing it's the same for other banks.

In terms of finances, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE INCLUDE LAST YEARS P60 AS WELL. Just be safe rather than sorry.

Photocopy everything you send.

I sent only three months for my current account and a month for my savings account (which was by mistake - I only realised this after sending!)

Also they were printied from internet - needless to say I was really worried since I then read on here only to send originals and atleast six months. I also sent four months payslips, which weren't anything amazing as they are typed up on a computer at work.

Visa was granted with no probs!

To be on safe side I would send originals though!

Yes it will. A P60 isn't mandatory. You can't submit what you don't have.
A letter from your employer together with your 3 months pay slips will be fine.
It would help if your employer is willing to state in the letter that he considers your employment to be permanent...but again this isn't essential.
