Change of address, how to inform UKBA?

Post by kkrush » Thu Aug 25, 2011 5:24 pm

Hi there,

My IRL application is with UKBA at the moment and is not likely to come back before I move my flat. Although it says on the application form, to inform them immediately of any change, but it is not clear where/whom to contact for it.

I wonder if anyone on this forum knows how to inform UKBA of the postal address change? Is the 08706067766 public enquiry number my best bet?

Regards,

kk

This could be slightly off-topic, but in your situation you may also consider Royal Mail Redirection service.

Thanks :) I think that's a short term solution.

Last time UKBA sent me something I had to be there to sign it with my ID. Very troublesome, this is.

when did you send your application to the home office? call 0870 606 7766 and tell them the change of address, they will give you where to write

The guidance form says how to contact them after applying. Also what information they want in the covering letter
