Dependent Visa of a Tier 2 Applicant

Post by s0787671 » Thu Sep 01, 2011 9:56 pm

Hello,

We both are Indian Citizens. We got married in UK couple of months back.

I am on a Tier 2 sponsered visa and my wife is on PSW post study work visa.

I am goin to extend my Tier 2 Visa next year and wanted to fill in dependent visa for my visa at the same time. It would save me time and money if I do it together.

But I heard mixed information from people, that My wife would have to go back to india and then apply from there for dependent visa.

Does this apply even if we are married here and are already in UK?

Thank you
Bharat

Yes. She has to apply for entry clearance from outside the UK. See 319C(h)
