hi
i had work one and half year in uk.
first 6 month i worked for emplyer A with temparary NI number,because permentant NI was not issue. i.e. TN010160M and then after one year i worked for emplyer B with permentant NI number (got ni number from job centre)

i need my empolyment history from HMRC so called to HMRC on 0845 300 0627.but they say they do not have any employment history of mine.
what can i do now

When did you join Employer A? And when did you leave them? When did you join Employer B? And are you still with them; if not, when did you leave?

Employer A = start date : 01/06/2005
leaving date : 30/11/2005
temperiory NI number Used

Employer B = start date : 01/09/2007
Leaving date : 07/11/2007
Permanent NI number Used
currently not with employer B .currently unemployed

When you left those employments, were you given a form P45? And do you have payslips?

Can I ask why you need HMRC to confirm your employment record? For what purpose?

Send Subject access request (SAR) with details of
1. your temporary & permanent NI numbers
2. date of birth
3. your address
4. signature (and of course your name)

to the address below:

BMSD System Information Work Centre
Data Protection Unit
Room BP4302
Longbenton
Newcastle Upon Tyne
NE98 1ZZ

Ask them for details of your NI contribution and previous employers.
