Should I Send H1B Papers with HSMP Application?

Post by pateketu » Wed Jun 21, 2006 7:10 am

I am currently on an H1B visa in USA and applying for HSMP. I am wondering if any one in similar situation had sent their H1B (I-797) papers with the HSMP application, It could be a good way to prove that you are currently employed in a graduate level job.

Thanks

Answer is No....IMHO having H1B does not mean that the job you are doing is Graduate Level. They would like to see it through your roles and responsibilities given in Reference Letter.

No need. It will not serve any purpose. Your H-1B documents are anyway photocopies of what you or your lawyer would have filled up and submitted to US-Immig. authorities. It is of no use to HO.
Please submit only original documentation to support whatever you claim in your application.
