HI,

My Passport will expire during my stay in march 2012. My visa extension is due on oct 2012.

How to i renew my passport from UK. The passport was taken from chennai. How much does it cost. What are the documents or proof do i need to renew my passport.?

Could somebody please guide me ?

You can renew your passport from the Indian High Commission in UK, the will put a note to state on your new passport to state that your existing UK visa is on your old passport.

When you send your application to the Home office include both passports with a covering letter to state that your old passport has expired.
