Thank you sushdmehta for you kind reply, what I am unable to understand that why do solics keep on insisting to apply, i know some one with same back ground ended up applying for ILR for the UK born child because his solicitor has scared that it must be done but the British nationaility act states clearly that ILR is not required. any idea about any supporting documents when I apply for mien nad my wife's ILR. would we get asked about our daughter's info not on the form?sushdmehta wrote:3. See also UK born child do not require ILR - please confirm?.
4. You need to pay for any application you make, unless exempted from paying.
Search the forum - there are umpteen number of topics mentioning those details.smoin wrote:any idea about any supporting documents when I apply for mien nad my wife's ILR.
The form asks for information about applicants named in the application form, and not about individual(s) who may be part of a family unit but not applying (for any reason).smoin wrote:would we get asked about our daughter's info not on the form?

It's section 1(3).smoin wrote:British Nationality Act 3(1)
Will you please care to read the quidance and form set (O) before asking questions? Everything is very clearly mentioned. And by the way what makes you think that your timing is not correct? If you have any doubts about what 5 years mean or how to count backward 28 days from a certain date, then please send an email to primary school kids in Nigeria.smoin wrote:Dear all,
I will be applying for ILR next month. Unfortunately, I get paid weekly and a cheque is issued from my company which I have to put in my bank account on a weekly basis. Is there any thing I should be careful about? e.g.
1. any thing specific to be mentioned from the accountant on the letter?
2. pay slips are in pdf format printed when received? are they OK to be submit along with a letter from the employer or accontant? (I've already asked HMRC for my employemnt record, they are happy to do it but they can only provide information about tax and not NI)
3. the pay day on the pay slips is on friday (i.e date wise i get paid every frifay) but bacuse it takes longer to cash I have an arrangement with the employer to put my cheque in on tuesdays. would it make any difference? (does it need mentioning on any of the letters? as I will try a to get a letter each from the accountant and the employers, so please guide me so that i can get the right letter).
Thank you guys for all the help you give to every one.
4. ALSO I GOT MY FLR ON THE BASIS OF WORK PERMIT ON THE 21/11/2006, AND I HAVE BOOKED AN APPOINTMENT ON THE 28th OF OCTOBER 2011, PLEASE CONFIRM THAT THE TIMING IS ALL CORRECT.
Thank you for your reply. I want to clarify my doubts and asking any one out there willing to help. If for any reason I am not having enough understanding, you don't have to answer or be rude about it. I'm sure no one else would appreciate the kind of reply you have given.mrlookforward wrote:smoin wrote: If you have any doubts about what 5 years mean or how to count backward 28 days from a certain date, then please send an email to primary school kids in Nigeria.
