Application without passport

Hi all,

I was wondering if you could make an ILR application while you wait for your replacement passport?

Passport renewal times might take around 3-4 months in my case and I thought if it was better to wait or apply now.

Wait, if possible. Else, apply shortly prior to expiry of leave.
