Hi,

I suggest you can write to UKBApublicenquiries on email. Or you can ask some solicitor. Some solicitor, do not charge if you sent them an email.

All the best

I assume you are worried that it will come under public funds. Check the link below. It looks like maternity pay is not considered a public fund and so paternity pay should be the same

thanks to both. i am not worried about public funds. my question is if i take paternity pay, will it be counted towards my earning ( i need to show 24 k i think and will this paternity pay (SSP) reduce my earning out of the 24k)?

i hope i am clear but pls do let me know if its now

thanks

This is a differnt query so and i dont understand why susdmehta locked my previous post but anyway this is my query

i got my initial hsmp in Jan 2007. i am due for ilr in Jan 2012..in order to show previous five years p60, which years i need to show...do i need to show from 2006-2011 ? (if i have to start with 2006-2007 then i have worked as part time during period - is this ok ?)

and one more thing, which home office location expericence is good (croydon, liverpool or solihull). because i have read in this forums that some people who have attended solihull, the case worker checks the documents first and then if its fine we have to pay the fee of 1350 pounds whereas in other centers we have to pay first and then caseworker checks the documents ) - so for this purpose i would like to go to a center where my docs are first checked and then pay

paternity pay is paid by your employer and you have a legal right to it. It is not a benefit, it is a right by the law. You should also get full 2 weeks pay whilst on paternity leave.

you will be fine.

in that case you need to book at solihull.
but bear in mind its hard to find appointments at solihull unless you start looking early.

I can see slots in Cryodon, Liverpool and Solihull - anyone can suggest with their experince which is the best centre to visit. My documents are fine i think but still. (Someone said in Solihul the customer service is good and moreover they check the documents before they take the 1350 pounds) - is this true ? anyone experieced this ?

Thanks
