Tier 1 leading to ILR - Earning Requirement.

Post by saljav » Mon Sep 26, 2011 11:59 am

Guys,

just wanted to clearify something that confuses me.

I am on a Tier 1 visa and will apply for ILR in Aug, 2013.

Under current rules will I have to claim the same earning pointing that I claimed for my last extension i.e £36,000 or will I have to claim enough earning points to have overall 75 points.

The reason I am concerned is that during my last extension I claimed points against £36000 which included my basic salary + overtime. However I am not sure whether I'll be able to earn the same amount of overtime before my ILR extension and there is a possibility of my overall income dropping to lets say £30000. In such case I'll still be able to earn 75 points but not the same points for salary which I earned during my last extension.
please share your thoughts.

I have same case as you. but i think we have to claim minimum qualifying point at ILR means (75)
