Tier 1 dependant visa INR-GBP conversion rate on which date

Post by vivekbhadra » Mon Sep 26, 2011 3:57 pm

Hi,

I am putting together an application for Tier 1 dependents visa for my wife and my child's dependent visa very soon. I am working under Tier 1 visa in Uk for the last eight months. I have a query regarding the maintenance fund. I am showing my Indian bank account balance maintained for the last three months. I am claiming the fund balance for the period 12th June to 14th Sept, 2011. While calculating the INR to GBP which date it has to be considered? The rate on the date of the application submission or the rate on each individual date in the period 12th June to 14th Sept, 2011? Like for example, should I check in oanda that is the rate on 12th June, 2011 and what is the INR to GPB conversion for whatever balance I have in my account? Or should I take the rate on date of submission and calculate the conversion on 12th June, 2011. Similarly for every other day which conversion rate INR-GBP should I follow?

Thanks and Regards,
Vivek
