friend of mine,now eu citizen,married more than 6 years with his wife, due to war in their country they got seperated(live in different eu country without finding each other), the wife in ireland for 4 years,as asylum seeker,they have 2 kids together.they informed the authorties they r marred and gave names of their spouse when applied for asylum seeking. now finaly joint each other, the husband came to ireland working full time ,they would like to exercise his right as an EU, his lawyer said (u need to apply for the eu1 after 6 month of work.)
is that right?
