About incorrectly spelt name on my wife's degree certificate

Post by smb » Sun Jul 09, 2006 8:03 pm

Hi All,

I wanted to add on points to my HSMP application based on my wife's graduation degree.

My wife's first name is mispelt on the degree certificate as SAVITHA instead of SAVITA. However her passport correctly prints the name as SAVITA.

However my wife does signature as Savitha.

I was unsure whether this would affect the points considertaion for case worker.

Looks like it is, but can anyone suggest me pls as to how do we get round this issue ?

Regards
smb

From my opinion, get affidevit from a lawyer that savita and savitha both person are one and same. It is quite common to have misspeal and lawyers know how to make an affidevit.
