Tier-1 general dependent visa

Post by NRC » Fri Oct 14, 2011 3:44 pm

Hi,

My Wife and daughter have received dependent visa but on my wifes visa they have mentioned the visa category as Tier-1 (Investor).

on my daughters visa it was Tier-1 (General) but they misspelled a letter of my surname.

They have recieved the visas on 29th June 2011 but we noticed the errors only before travelling to UK on 12th of October 2011. we submitted their passports on the 12th october itself.

Can I know how long will it take for the UK embassy in Chennai (India) to correct the errors and send the passprts back.

Many thanks,
NRC

How did they travel to UK on 12-Oct without the passports, which you claim to have submitted on the same day at BHC / VAF Chennai?

Anywhere between 1-3 weeks.
