Do we get biometric residence permit for ILR as well now?

I recently extended my Tier 1 visa and got my residence permit today.

At the instructions I got with the card it says on the valid until date on the card:

"Valid Until - the date the permit expires. This date is at the end of the time you are allowed to stay or five or 10 years if you have been given permission to settle in the United Kingdom (known as indefinite leave to remain)"

I thought for ILR they put a sticker in the passport, isn't it? or something has been changed lately?
