tier1 general maintenance funds

Post by serenas11 » Sun Oct 16, 2011 9:53 am

Hi
Can someone please confirm if I can use two accounts to show that my maintenance has been more than£800 each day for the the 90 day period. My savings account has £780,due to a direct debit going through so I have more than 20 in my other current account and together they have more than £800 every day . Your help will be much appreciated.

Thank you

Yes. You can combine more than one statement as proof of maintenance funds.

However the funds must be *cleared funds at the end of each working day for 90 consecutive days.

So £780 + £20 showing as cleared funds for 3months will meet the maintenance funds requirements.

* Not including such things as overdraft
