PEO appointment for a (new born) child

Post by Tunay » Wed Oct 19, 2011 4:46 pm

I'm Tier 1 holder and intend to apply for dependant visa for my Son because he is travelling outside the contry

Is it compulsory to go for the appointment with my Son?

I have booked an appointment in Liverpool and i'm thinking of going alone with relvant documents and my Passport and my Son Passport and my Wife Passport

Is this acceptable?

As per the guidelines, the main applicant + all dependents must be present.

Biometrics!

Check if children below certain age are exempt from biometric enrolment (photograph and / or fingerprints). Then it may be possible.

Best that you check directly with UKBA.

The answer is in the PBS dependent application form - applicants under 6 are not required to give fingerprints but they do need to have their photograph taken - therefore you child would need to attend with you.
