ADVICE: Applying for Spouse's EC

Hi everyone,
Would be of great assistance if any one can provide me feedback if they have been through the process of applying for their spouces EC who were abroad....esp. Pakistan.
I currently have my HSMP extension of 4 years and will the same period be granted to her?
Additionally, which forms to be filled?

Provide following documents

(a) your Good bank statement.
(b) arrange accommodation for ur family, depedning upon number of persons joining you.
(c) Job/business evidence

Which Application Form is to be used?
Non-settlement and for dependents??

She will need to use the VAF1 application form, and will need to tick the "Dependant of a person in a long-stay category" box in Section 1 of the form.
